The Original Photoshoot Tours - St Andrews, Dundee, Cupar and Edinburgh
The Original St Andrews Photo Shoot Tour is a first of its kind professional photo shoot for all visitors to St Andrews and locals.
You might be an individual, couple or family wishing to have your St Andrews experience documented, and have a professional photographer capture unique moments in this historic town. I can offer a shorter version of the tour if you cannot spare the 2 hours for the full tour, but the price will remain the same, so to get the best value out of the tour I highly recommend you sign up for the full tour.
Please note this is a walking tour.
Visiting the City of Design as a tourist? Studying at one of Dundee's outstanding academic institutions? A couple looking to get memories captured in Dundee at some of its iconic attractions? Or just love having your photo taken and love Dundee?
Dundee is changing, and the city is a vibrant place full of iconic attractions including the V&A, Dundee Train Station, Tay Rail Bridge, Tay Road Bridge, Slessor Gardens, Whale Sculpture, City Quay, Caird Hall and The McManus, among many others. With the E-Sports Arena and Eden Project to come in the coming years, the city is going to change beyond all recognition. Matt Hooper provides professional photography at each stop on the tour as well as giving you a little bit of knowledge about our great city.

On this Tour we go where the light takes us
Beginning at the magnificent McManus Galleries, getting shots around the exterior of the building which is illuminated at night, before hopping over the road to Courier Place and getting creative shots outside the home of Desperate Dan and the Dundee Evening Telegraph. We then head down Reform Street, passing by the Desperate Dan Statue and on to City Square and the iconic Caird Hall exterior. Then its off down Nethergate we go towards the bright lights of the Perth Road, before turning into South Tay Street, but we don't go Underground 😉
We then stop for a coffee break at a nearby bar or cafe before heading back out into the night and getting shots outside the Malmaison Hotel, Dundee Train Station, Discovery Point and the V&A. Then it is on to the Whale Sculpture, and this much lamented piece of art comes to life at night with the lit fountains of water acting as a stunning prop for a night shoot. We conclude this adventure with a camera with South Marketgait Street, and a long exposure shot which will capture you with the traffic whizzing past.

Edinburgh is where I got the idea for photoshoot tours, so this tour will be far from being the first offered in Edinburgh, but what makes it Original is the scale of tours on offer and the premium product.
Tours will be conducted the course of a day and will include up to 18 locations and destinations across Edinburgh, a high quality album and a meal and drink in an Edinburgh outlet.

Following a test shoot I did with model Kyle Moran last September I discovered just what an outstanding town Cupar is to shoot in, with a variety of backdrops and environments to capture natural and action portraits in. This town, more than 800 years old, has a fantastic mix of old walls, mature trees and urban landscape to create a truly delightful body of work.
The service will consist of full round photography including tournament-style shots throughout the round at key holes including tee shots, approach shots, bunker shots and putts; Scenic, landscape photography and Documentary, reportage photography.
Golf was my introduction to photography, and it is my true photographic passion and makes up a significant portion of my photography experience. Having played many of the great courses in Scotland and Ireland, whilst also having worked at several of them in a media capacity, or caddying, I am uniquely placed to offer a standout Golf Photography service.
